Keeping Your Mind Healthy and Fit

No one wants to start using adult bibs by the time they are 40, and the threat of brain-affecting diseases such as dementia or Alzheimer’s is definitely scaring a lot of people, probably you included. Unfortunately, the mad world we are spending our days in and the never-ending struggle for survival are forcing most of us to do something beneficial for our health, though only when something bad actually occurs. Namely, we barely think of ways to prevent our brain getting ill. But with proper mental and physical exercising, and excellently balanced diet and some additional tricks, you could be turning over a new leaf when it comes to your own health.

Pedestrian Attraction.

I wonder why some people seem to be destined to walk into each other. There you are, innocently walking along the street with someone else walking towards you… and then the inevitable occurs.

You move left, and so does he.

You move right, and so does he.

And then – IMPACT!

It’s all a bit weird, isn’t it? And it also seems to happen far more often than it should!

Oh well, it’s just another part of ‘life’s rich tapestry’ I suppose…

Finding the Inspiration You Need

Finding the inner strength and motivation required to take a firm stand on something you believe, is a great sign of courage. When you don’t stand for something you believe, you will automatically fall for everything else. Sometimes in might be difficult to show your determination and these are times when you can read about great leaders. Leaders like Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi or David Bengurian, who stood firm in the midst of impossibilities and got what they believed in.

Three ‘Exciting’ Sports.

What is it with people and sport? It seems as though just about everyone I know is completely obsessed with one type of it or another. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I have a problem with people liking sport… it’s just that they will so often get a bit fanatical about it. You know the sort of thing I mean; hanging a Saint George’s flag from your bedroom window or writing ‘Football Crazy’ across your chest in bright red lipstick. And as far as I’m concerned, stuff like that is just plain WRONG!

Why ‘Old School’ is the Best Method When it Comes to Friends.

Social networks are now a very big part of life for a great many modern people. However, there is something that we should all be keeping firmly in mind. You see, it’s so easy to find yourself getting caught up in all of this %u2018internet interaction’and forgetting about one very important thing; on many levels, it isn’t actually ‘real’. Even though we will call many of these contacts our ‘friends’, they are not quite the same as friends in the physical realm.

Politics in the times of danger

Politics in the times of danger

The aggressive political scenarios of the West will not help us pacify the sleeping dragon of the East (China), its occupation of Afghanistan, Iraq and potential threat to Pakistan and China has not put it in any better diplomatic position as sheer power and respect for a nation doesn’t come from bullying attitudes, but it comes from display of wealth, prosperity and international relations stands and view points.
China the other hand has played its cards well by putting the word out there very subtly that it will not budge to the bully and at the same time keep its integrity in the most possible way, it doesn’t mean that it will go out of its way to do that. This has included certain actions which continues to occur, the bullying of oil works off the coast of the disputed South China Sea and the inspection of the RIMPAC and VALIANT SHIELD exercises on the islands of Guam.
The ideal platform for China and US power intergeneration in Asia will come from power sharing. If both parties don’t move towards that scenario and if China or US do not wish to back down, this will lead us to potential war of scale that could leave no winners on any side, as no nuclear war is winnable. However what needs to be done is that forces need to be combined to deal with common threats like terrorism as well as the dangerous rogue state of North Korea. A Hovis farmer ad may ease you into the comforts of a daily life, a reminder of calmness, but the fact doesn’t change, in 30 years, we face the brink of political negotiations that will test nations and their leaders

Develop E-Wisdom

Develop E-Wisdom

Advancement s in technology have made life easier for people all over the world. This does not necessarily mean that it is free of problems but the pros in most cases prevail over the cons. Before the advent of the computer and internet, it would be crazy to imagine that you could buy almost anything within the comfort of your house. Now, we do not only have internet shopping but also internet banking, dating, socializing and many more. The world is shrinking and fast becoming that global village where everybody lives on the internet. In advanced countries where everything is more electronic than the rest of the world, the risks are also generally higher. When we talk about risk, the first thing that comes to mind is fraudsters and scammers. No one is denying their presence but there are also many other things that take your money in little bits that may run into hundreds of pound each year.

Now that we pay bills online, people have become lazy to do many necessary things by themselves. Most people are ignorant of the fact that money is lost regularly when transacting with credit cards for example. Apart from the widely known fact that many organizations rob individuals with unnecessary chargers which they hide very smartly; people also fail to do personal research to find out on issues like the credit card that is best for them. The fact that your bank offered you a credit card does not mean they have your best interest at heart of that you cannot get better offers elsewhere. You can check independent opinion on uSwitch credit cards for objective information on the best deals for you. Look for hidden charges every time you are dealing with anything electronic. If you have to take a loan, seek information from independent bodies and the internet for what is best for you. Exploit the internet in order to fight the exploitation of your service providers.

Relationship Guru

People are always asking me for relationship advice, and in particular advice on how to get their ex girlfriends back! I don’t use data management tools to go about getting my ex back, I use hard earnt experience. So I have decided to impart some of my expert wisdom upon all who will listen…

So you want her back, but don’t know how to go about it? Well let me tell you about how I managed to get my ex back; it was not by crying myself to sleep at night and bombarding her with endless messages about how we should be together. It was by playing the game correctly and making her want me once more.

Where to Gather with Your Friends

I almost did it. google plus seemed like a great idea. I am recently deeply disgusted with facebook for continuing to host some horribly misogynistic pages despite petitions asking them to remove them (you can see article in the guardian online or ms magazine). So, I thought I could switch to the google social networking tool. What was really appealing was that it apparently was going to have a video chat where up to four people could speak to each other at the same time (don’t take my word for this, it might have been some sort of Chinese whispers!)

What We Brits like to do on the weekends

What We Brits like to do on the weekends

The weekends are a time for family for the Brits. Parents go to work on all five days of the week. We, therefore, make it a point to go shopping with our families on Saturdays. The Sunday, for us, is a day for prayer and hope. Most of the people visit the church and then go home and take rest. We mainly dedicate our time to performing the household chores like washing the clothes, gardening and other odd jobs.

Until very recently shops in Britain were supposed to remain closed on Sundays but not anymore. So, now the two main activities we Brits engage in on weekends are going to the church and shopping. Many people go shopping the whole day long instead of visiting the church. There are others who combine both of these activities on weekends. Some of us believe that it is important to spend our weekends on a tour away from home. Some of us pack our bags for a caravan tour, while others go touring in their family 4×4 cars.

We also engage ourselves in indoor as well as outdoor activities on weekends. The most common indoor activity is watching television. Almost all houses have at least one television set. Other popular leisure activities during weekends include listening to the radio, going for a movie outdoors, listening to pre recorded music, DIY and eating outside. We also entertain friends and guests at our homes or ourselves go out and meet friends and relations during weekends. The outdoor sports we engage ourselves in are tennis and football and if there is a derby on weekends, we are either on the galleries chanting songs of the football club we support or at home glued to the television doing the same.
